Minutes for RMR POA 5.11.2021  6:04pm 

Attending:  Jeff Peterson, Joe Dalton, Kellee and Ryan Hartman, Jill Clark, Bill Haser,   Roland Brown by phone.   

Reports. 

Roads: Joe  talked with Hays Cty. director of Transport will not have enough info on scheduling to address the POA until fall. County people are asking for updated addresses list and mailing out a package to residents. 

Treasury:  Roland Brown (see below). 

Parks:  Ryan   

Gate update  with Symmetry Audio  mid June is earliest start date.  A chip shortage is delaying installs. 

Motion to purchase camera through Symmetry Audio, by Joe, seconded by Bill, with a contract. 

People in  arrears will have key cards deactivated if not paid by May 28th. 

ACC: Bill.  No new homes requested.  2 pools requested under construction. 

Communications: Jill is going to talk to Helen about new member welcome contacts. 

Committee updates:  

Fire:  Kevin Fowler has bought property outside the entrance of RMR. Members were concerned about unattended fires. He states he has a workman with water truck going with watched fires with clearing all the way down to Redhawk.  So, if residents have concerns or questions he gave his phone number:  512-466-2244

Bylaws committee:  Bill went over update survey. 

Motion to approval reports: Jill, seconded by Joe. Approved.

New Business:  discussion of enforcement procedures and options for covenant violations.

Question:  if assessing fines is an option for the board.  Will look for legal opinion. 

Roland proposes limiting VBRO / Airbnb  guests allowed in park without owner present. 

Board has authority to amend park rules.  Also an issue that guests could sue the POA if injured in the Park.

Bob Knell  wants to buy water tanks at the waterpark for $75 a piece. Board agreed. 

Semi- Annual General Meeting  set for Jul 24 10am

Motion to adjourn 7:24 by Jill, seconded by Joe.  Unanimous.
